Questions from planners

Do I need a CAD licence or an installation?

No. PlanWerke runs entirely in the browser — dropping in an IFC file is enough. Computation happens locally on your machine; a model is only uploaded when you deliberately save it to a cloud project in your account.

Who carries the planning responsibility?

You do. PlanWerke automates placement and standards checking and makes every result transparent in the model — sign-off and responsibility remain with the engineer.

What is free, what is PRO?

The IFC viewer with 3D/2D, properties, sections and measuring is free. The automatic engineering for smoke detectors and voice alarm, plus the exports, are part of PRO. Intruder-alarm planning is in development.
